• Das erste Mal war ich, wie viele typische Touries auf Bali und hatte sofort Sympathie, auch wenn ich sicher in manche Touristen-Falle getappt bin.

Etwas später lernte ich in Deutschland meine jetzige indonesische Frau kennen, die als Au-Pair in Deutschland arbeitete.

• Dadurch wurde ich natürlich noch interessierter an Land und Leuten, schließlich musste ich mich ja auch an das Leben mit Ihrer Familie (in einem kleinen Kampung) gewöhnen.

• Leider konnte ich nie länger als einen Monat in Indonesien verbringen, weil es mein Job derzeit nicht zulässt. (=>Touristenvisum gilt max. 1 Monat ?!)
  

Die Idee zu der Seite kam mir, weil ich gerne allgemeine touristische Informationen mit Themen verbinden wollte, die auch Bereiche berühren, für die sich gewöhnlich kein Tourist interessiert.

Nachdem ich mein Studium in Indonesien absolviert habe, bin ich im Dezember 2006 nach Deutschland gekommen und fragte mich selbst, wie ich für meine Heimat aus der Ferne unterstützen könnte. Dieses Blog gibt mir zumindest eine Möglichkeit.

Seit Oktober 2007 studiere ich Regionalstudien China/BWL an der Uni Köln und bin die Vizevorsitzende der Kulturabteilung des indonesischen Studentvereins PPI Köln .

• Für den PPI organisiere ich regelmäßig Veranstaltungen und ein Radioprogramm zum Thema Indonesien.

• Außerdem helfe ich gerne Leuten, die Veranstaltungen über Indonesien organisieren möchten.
  

Im Moment kann ich nur in NRW aushelfen, da mein Studentenausweis nicht Bundesweit gilt.

Zunächst mal eine kurze Erklärung. Ich habe einige Emails erhalten, in der mich Besucher fragten, warum so selten neue Einträge im Blog erscheinen.

• Dies liegt ganz einfach daran, dass der größte Teil der neuen Artikel auf der Hauptseite veröffentlicht werden und ich zur Zeit alle Arbeit in jene stecke.
